Christian Blummenfelt is on fire!

It’s only days after he won Olympic Triathlon Gold in Tokyo, but he is already back to training with another super-ambitious goal: «I won’t to win Kona this year»

Kona is legendary Ironman World Championship race (3,8 km — 180km — 42 km) that takes place in Kona, Hawaii on 09.10.2021.

He hopes to qualify for Kona as early as in European Championship in Frankfurt in 2 weeks.

It’s hard to imagine how he can easily switch from short Olympic distance to full Ironman Triathlon distance in such a short period of time.

Sounds like a crazy plan. But in triathlon everything is possible!

So let’s wait and see if Christian can continue his super successful race season.
